Mechanical Maintenance & Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical and electrical systems within our facility. This role requires strong leadership qualities, project management skills, and a solid understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems. The Maintenance Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and infrastructure, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and PLC programming knowledge.
• Lead maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
• Supervise junior team members and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose faults accurately.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order necessary components for repairs and upgrades.
• Implement safety procedures during all maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop preventative maintenance schedules that optimise equipment performance.
• Document all maintenance work accurately in company records and maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in a team environment.
• Knowledge of project management principles applied within maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Management experience or training is advantageous but not essential.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical or electrical engineering are preferred. Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
