Mechanical Piping Designer - Solidworks Specialist

We’re looking for a seasoned mechanical designer with advanced SolidWorks piping and routing skills to contribute to the development of fluid handling systems within our next-generation flow battery manufacturing facilities. This position plays a key role in translating engineering concepts into precise mechanical layouts for large-scale energy storage infrastructure.

Primary Duties:

• Design and model complex piping systems using SolidWorks, focusing on fluid transport efficiency and manufacturability.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including chemical and mechanical engineers to refine system layouts.
• Generate fabrication-ready documentation including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical specs.
• Participate in prototype development and support on-site activities during factory construction and commissioning.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years in piping design using CAD tools, ideally within industrial or energy-related environments.
• Mastery of SolidWorks piping and routing features.

Projected Total Compensation: $88,817.66 - $106,963.20 per year
