Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical project activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. The role includes coordinating with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare technical reports, material submittals, method statements, and work schedules.
• Monitor site progress, ensure quality control, and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project standards.
• Provide support during testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Attend project meetings and report on progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 7 years working in Qatar.
• UPDA Grade C certification, at minimum.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in:
• HVAC systems
• Plumbing works
• Firefighting systems
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR11,000.00 per month
