Mechanical Project Engineer

Duties And Responsibilities :

1. Supervise execution of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.

2. Coordinate closely with Electrical and Civil teams for MEP integration.

3. Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.

4. Prepare and submit material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.

5. Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense).

6. Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project schedule.

7. Manage subcontractors and site manpower effectively.

8. Conduct inspections and ensure quality control standards.

9. Coordinate testing & commissioning of mechanical systems.

10. Attend client and consultant meetings.

11. Identify and resolve technical issues at site.

12. Ensure HSE compliance within MEP works.

13. Support project handover and documentation process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years UAE experience in MEP works within building construction.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems.
• Familiar with authority approvals and inspections in UAE.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
