MEP Engineer

We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across multiple projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all MEP activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, coordinate, and manage MEP design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Supervise on-site installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Ensure MEP works comply with approved designs, quality standards, and project timelines
• Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems
• Identify technical issues on site and implement effective solutions
• Ensure full compliance with QCS, safety regulations, and relevant authority requirements
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in MEP works
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
• Familiarity with Qatar regulations and authority approval processes
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Professional certifications such as LEED, PMP, or PE will be considered an advantage
