Mechanical QA/QC Engineer – Qatar

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all mechanical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role involves implementing QA/QC procedures and maintaining high-quality delivery across MEP works, particularly in high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures on-site
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality documentation
• Conduct pre-inspections and coordinate inspections with consultants
• Submit work and material inspection requests
• Verify test reports and ensure compliance with specifications
• Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure conformity
• Identify and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Coordinate with site teams to rectify consultant comments
• Maintain and prepare project quality documentation
• Support subcontractor quality audits
• Prepare Operation & Maintenance manuals
• Monitor snagging and de-snagging activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of MEP experience
• Experience in high-rise projects (Qatar/GCC preferred)
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation
• Good communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID
• UPDA certification required (if profession listed as Engineer)
• Candidates with Civil background will not be considered
