We are looking for Mechanical Quality Engineers who are passionate about precision engineering, systematic inspection, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Role Summary:

As a Mechanical Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving product quality across all manufacturing stages — from incoming materials to final assembly and dispatch. This role demands a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in tool handling, measurement techniques, and documentation.

Candidates with an engineering background are preferred, and a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:1. Tool Handling & Calibration:

  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate precision measuring tools such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Gauges, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Surface Plates.
  • Ensure proper storage, periodic verification, and calibration of all inspection instruments.
  • Create and maintain a calibration schedule and ensure zero deviation in tool accuracy.

2. Dimensional Measurement & Inspection:

  • Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspection of mechanical components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and verify dimensional tolerances using GD&T principles.
  • Identify non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis with production and design teams.
  • Maintain inspection records and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Documentation & Quality Reporting:

  • Prepare daily inspection reports, quality logs, and rejection summaries.
  • Maintain traceable records for components, materials, and calibration data.
  • Support ISO 9001 and internal audits by ensuring documentation compliance.
  • Update control plans, checklists, and inspection standards as per project requirements.

4. Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement projects using 5S, Kaizen, and 8D methodologies.
  • Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
  • Experience: 0 to 3 years in Mechanical Quality or Inspection (Freshers with sound technical skills are welcome).
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Mechanical measurement techniques and GD&T interpretation.
  • Understanding of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO/TS quality systems and documentation procedures.
  • Exposure to statistical process control and tolerance analysis will be an advantage.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong observation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Team player with a structured and disciplined work approach.
  • Ability to take ownership of quality checkpoints and deadlines.

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
