Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, ducting, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Review mechanical design drawings and ensure implementation aligns with project specifications and site conditions.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and systems teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical works.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely execution of mechanical activities.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
- Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of mechanical systems and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including red-line drawings, inspection reports, and material logs.
- Participate in client inspections, punch list resolution, and final handover documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Report daily and weekly progress to the MEP Site Manager and escalate any issues affecting schedule or quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical site execution, preferably in control center, data centers, or critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, fire protection, and plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with integration of mechanical systems with BMS and SCADA infrastructure.
- Fluent in English and Urdu; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in utility or smart grid infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site reporting tools.
- Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
