Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the HVAC, plumbing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems in compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations, and international standards. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing site execution and supervision of HVAC, plumbing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

Preparing, reviewing, and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) to address design clarifications, discrepancies, and site-related technical issues.

Preparing and submitting SORs (Site Observation Reports) and ensuring timely corrective actions and closure of observations.

Coordinating SOR / NCR / site corrective actions with subcontractors and monitoring implementation on site.

Reviewing and preparing material submittals, method statements, risk assessments, and inspection & test plans for consultant and authority approvals.

Coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth site progress and effective resolution of technical issues.

Ensuring compliance with NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, BS/EN standards, and UAE Civil Defense / ADCD requirements.

Conducting site inspections and witnessing pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning activities.

Monitoring installation quality, safety, and workmanship, and ensuring closure of snags and non-conformances.

Verifying materials, manufacturers, certificates, and installation practices as per approved submittals and project specifications.

Supporting authority inspections, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and final project handover.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Minimum 4+ years of site experience, with UAE experience mandatory.

Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
