Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Site Engineer with strong experience in steel structure / PEB projects, including erection supervision, installation works, site coordination, and mechanical execution activities.

The candidate must have hands-on experience in structural steel erection, mechanical installations, industrial projects, and site execution management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical & structural steel installation activities
• Monitor erection of steel columns, beams, rafters, trusses & bracing
• Coordinate installation of mechanical components in PEB structures
• Ensure alignment, leveling, bolt tightening & grouting works
• Review and interpret mechanical & structural drawings
• Coordinate with fabrication yard and logistics team
• Manage subcontractors and site workforce
• Prepare MIR, WIR, method statements & ITP documentation
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards
• Attend client & consultant meetings
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical installation works
• Knowledge of structural steel erection sequence
• Ability to read mechanical & structural drawings
• Experience with lifting plans & rigging coordination
• AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• MS Office (Excel reporting)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–8 years of relevant experience
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Driving License (Preferred)
• Strong leadership & site coordination skills
