Job Description:
Grand Engineering Solutions is looking for a Mechanical Project Supervisor to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical works on various industrial and commercial projects. The role involves coordinating site activities, supervising installation teams, and ensuring that all work is carried out according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical systems, piping, fabrication, and installation processes, along with strong leadership and communication skills to manage on-site operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to project works.
• Ensure project tasks are executed as per drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan and allocate resources (manpower, tools, and materials) efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, and material checklists.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company HSE policies.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project engineers to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical installations before handover.
• Provide guidance and technical support to site staff and workers.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DAE)
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical project supervision (industrial or construction sector preferred).
• Strong understanding of piping systems, equipment installation, and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience in managing site teams and handling subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic project reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
