Mechanical Supervisor

We are a rapidly growing steel fabrication company (est. 1992 parent company) specializing in high-standard oil and gas projects. We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Foreman to manage our site operations. You will be responsible for 15+ workers across different client locations, ensuring that all piping, pressure vessels, and structural works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site & Labor Management

• Supervise a team of 15+ workers (welders, fabricators, fitters) across various project sites.
• Manage daily attendance, labor camp dispatch, and site assignments.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and maintain discipline within the team.

2. Technical Oversight & Quality Control

• Read and interpret Isometric drawings, P&IDs, and structural blueprints.
• Ensure all fabrication (storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping) meets API, ASME, or AWS standards.
• Conduct "Pre-Inspection" of welds and fit-ups before client QC arrives to minimize rework.

3. Logistics & Accountability

• Driving & Transport: Must move between different client workshops (e.g., Technomak, Lemprell) to monitor progress.
• Tool & Material Tracking: Maintain a strict inventory of company tools and consumables on-site to prevent loss or damage.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client site managers to ensure smooth project flow.

4. Reporting

• Provide a Daily Progress Report (DPR) to the MD via WhatsApp/Email, including photos of work completed, material needs, and any site delays.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or 10+ years of equivalent field experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in Oil & Gas fabrication (Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Piping).
• License: Valid Driving License is MANDATORY (Manual or Automatic).
• Communication: Ability to speak/understand English and Hindi/Urdu (to communicate with the labor force).
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team of 15+ workers without constant supervision.
