Mechanical Supervisor Engineer (Demolition / Dismantling Projects)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in demolition, dismantling, and decommissioning projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in planning, supervising, and executing mechanical dismantling of industrial plants, equipment, and utility systems while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise mechanical dismantling and demolition activities at industrial facilities.
• Oversee mechanical dismantling, lifting, and removal operations on site.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
• Supervise mechanical disconnection, cutting, lifting, and removal of equipment such as piping, tanks, heat exchangers, vessels, and reactors.
• Coordinate with HSE, civil, and electrical teams for safe operations.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, and compliance with schedules and safety standards.
• Inspect dismantled components and ensure proper material segregation and waste disposal.
• Provide technical input on dismantling plans, equipment selection, cranes, and cutting tools.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, permits, and industry standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, checklists, and completion documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years overall experience, including 5 years in demolition, dismantling, or decommissioning projects (industrial plant experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plant utilities, and equipment removal.
• Experience with safe lifting operations, rigging plans, and hot work activities.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and environmental regulations related to waste management.
