Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in refinery and shutdown projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of all site activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical activities at site during shutdown/refinery projects.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively to meet project timelines.

• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and report daily updates to project management.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the work team, ensuring efficient execution.

• Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.

• Conduct toolbox talks, ensure adherence to HSE standards, and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising mechanical works, preferably in refinery/shutdown jobs.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication skills in English (written & spoken).

• Ability to work under pressure and handle tight shutdown schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of refinery processes and shutdown activities.

• Familiarity with safety practices and quality standards in oil & gas sector.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
