Mechanical Supervisor (Piping)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with strong hands-on expertise in piping, pipeline, structural, and tank works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, managing manpower, and ensuring that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute site activities related to:
• Piping fabrication and installation
• Pipeline works (CS, SS, HDPE, GRE, etc.)
• Structural steel erection
• Storage tank erection and installation
• Ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and safety requirements
• Allocate and manage manpower, tools, and equipment on site
• Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to foremen and workers
• Monitor work progress and ensure targets are achieved as per schedule
• Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC team, and other disciplines
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and usage on site
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship

Assist in:

• Hydrotesting of pipelines and tanks
• Pre-commissioning activities
• Identify and resolve site issues and report to site engineers
• Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records

Tank-Specific Responsibilities:

• Supervise tank erection activities (bottom, shell, roof installation)
• Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and welding of tank components
• Monitor installation of:
• Nozzles, manholes, and accessories
• Assist in hydrostatic testing and inspection of tanks
• Ensure compliance with API 650 / API 653 standards
