Reports To: Construction Manager / Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for supervising mechanical construction, installation, and maintenance activities on site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of mechanical teams, coordinating with engineers and project management to meet timelines and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mechanical activities on site, including installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure all mechanical work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with safety standards (HSE).
• Coordinate with project engineers, planners, and other disciplines for smooth workflow.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during mechanical construction or installation.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower utilization, and material usage records.
• Mentor and guide the mechanical team to maintain high-quality standards and safety compliance.
• Assist in planning material, tools, and manpower requirements for mechanical activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of project management, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EPC projects in oil and gas.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
• Work Environment:
• Site-based supervision with coordination across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborative team environment ensuring safe and timely project execution.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
