Mechanical System Engineer / Project-Based (HVAC Systems)

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be assigned to an upcoming project involving the construction of new buildings across three separate locations. As these sites are located in different areas with significant distances between them, the selected engineer will be required to stay on-site for multiple days when necessary to ensure proper coordination and oversight of mechanical works.This position will be project-based and aligned with the duration of the ongoing construction project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical installation, HVAC systems, and multi-discipline construction projects (airport, hospital, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects preferred),
• Experience in multi-location project management and ability to travel frequently,
• Strong ability to review technical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals,
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and EN,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools is an advantage,
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and reporting skills,
• Focused on quality, safety, and timely project delivery,
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic site conditions,
• Already or able to be based in Antalya,
• No military obligations for male candidates.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage all mechanical and HVAC-related works within the project scope, including: potable water and sanitary plumbing systems, HVAC systems (split units, air handling units, heat recovery systems), water treatment systems, firefighting systems (including sprinkler installation), elevator installations, and infrastructure works for wastewater and stormwater systems,
• Ensure complete and accurate monitoring of installation, testing, and commissioning processes,
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, prepare progress reports, and update senior management,
• Verify on-site workforce levels and ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards,
• Check construction methodologies, identify non-compliant works, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly,
• Review and confirm selected equipment brands and capacities align with approved project documentation,
• Ensure full Occupational Health & Safety compliance among subcontractors.
• Manage operations across multiple project sites and coordinate inter-site activities effectively. Prepare clear and concise technical and progress reports for management.
