Job Overview

Island Tower Electromechanical Works LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Team Lead to manage and guide a team of site engineers and technicians for civil infrastructure and MEP projects in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proven record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor site engineers and technical staff across active projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting systems.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Manage manpower allocation, resources, and project timelines effectively.
• Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provide detailed project reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Graduated before 2015 with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong exposure to civil works, infrastructure projects, and MEP execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience gained in India is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and commanding skills with the ability to multitask and handle complex projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Familiarity with Revit, Primavera, or other project management/design software is an advantage.
