Mechanical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults, and conduct necessary repairs on a wide range of machinery,
• Installation and Upgrades: Install new mechanical systems and equipment and upgrade existing ones, disassembling and assembling components as needed.
• Troubleshooting and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and performance, and diagnose issues using various tools and software.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and report findings.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with company policies.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with superior to solve complex mechanical problems and provide technical expertise.
• Equipment Management: Manage tools, maintain a clean and organized workshop, and order necessary parts and supplies.
• Reading Technical Documents: Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance and repair activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including specialized welding, machining, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with others.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing Paper Tissue environments.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
