Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machines, and equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical assets such as pumps, motors, valves, compressors, fans, and piping systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical components and systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments
• Follow maintenance schedules and document completed work in logs or CMMS (if applicable)
• Ensure mechanical systems meet quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with electrical and HVAC teams when needed
• Report any unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanical technician (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Good understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, pumps, piping, etc.)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals
• Familiarity with preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures
• Experience using mechanical tools and testing equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to work in shifts or on-call, including weekends or holidays if required
• Basic English communication; Arabic is a plus
