Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow the safety procedure before you start any equipment Maintenance.

Use Proper signage and Tag in Tag out procedure and the usage of proper PPE during any maintenance works.

Strong knowledge of the hazards involved in the occupation, and the safety precautions to take
-
Follow the checklist properly for Maintenance and accurate service record of all equipment’s.
-
Maintain the Chillers, freezers Blast freezers etc.
-
Cleans lubricates, greases, cooling coils, blowers, motors, pumps, moving parts, pillow block and flange bearing, packing and other routine points.
-
Install air-conditioning units; maintain refrigeration works for operation smoothly.
-
Carry out overhauling and servicing of refrigeration units by repairing, changing of compressors, condensers, and vacuum pumps; inspect Freon level in refrigeration units and fix any leak observed, and charge units as required; clean and change filters on ice machines and similar equipment; inspect heating elements and change if bad

Perform repairs or adjustments on piping connections, valves, couplings and fittings by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing, and soldering applying hand tools, drill press.

Determines and recommends, any changes and possible improvements on techniques and methods.

Strong knowledge of the practices and principles for effective preventive maintenance of Chillers, freezers and HVAC systems

Strong ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.

Provide support after work hour if required in situations like emergency, workshop, commission meetings, and other company functions
-
Processes and follows-ups requisition for tools and parts,ensures availability of supplies to minimize/avoid undue delay to work completion.
-
Maintains a standard classification/arrangement of supplies to ensure efficient storekeeping operations.
-
Issues materials based on actual work specifications: logs issuance accordingly.

Prepares and submits monthly checklist records
-
Attends maintenance requests, ensures that work orders are completed in the shortest possible time
-
Operates and applies repairs and/or preventive maintenance to all requests, equipment on timely basis and effectively.
-
Returns damaged and excess materials to the Engineering Storeroom.
-
Keeps the Engineering workroom and areas as clean and tidy as possible at all times.
-
Reviews periodically the quantity and type of commonly needed spare parts and coordinates closely with the stock personnel to ensure availability of spare parts.
-
Performs maintenance repair, test and adjustments on equipment and machinery as scheduled.
-
Notes and reports all findings, observations, breakdown losses immediately to Duty Engineering Manager for proper handling.

Performs other related duties and special projects as maybe assigned by the immediate superior.

Monthly schedule maintenance works to be complete on time and documented.
-
Daily Monitoring areas to be checked and report any abnormalities.
-
Weekly testing equipment’s to be tested and recorded.
Administrative Responsibilities
-
Complies with the hotel’s rules and regulations.
-
Checks and ensures that the jobs assigned have been effectively completed on the timely basis and according to the assignment and hotel’s expectation.
-
Recommends corrective actions for unfavorable variances in job standards and budget commitment.
-
Proposes and executes an effective duty to ensure sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business.

Establishes two-way communication within and related departments.
-
Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate supervisors and other section heads.
-
Attends daily briefing and departmental meetings as assigned by supervisor.
-
Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.
-
Identifies and solves problems in a professional manner.
-
Assists others to ensure the operation is run smoothly and effectively.
Technical Responsibilities
