Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair AHU, FAHU, FCU motors, and booster Pump related mechanical equipment.
• Replace motor bearings, Pulleys, mechanical seals, and worn-out components efficiently.
• Perform precise alignment of Blower, motors, and rotating equipment using proper tools.
• Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with other maintenance teams for smooth operation of mechanical systems.
• Perform basic electrical tasks related to motors and mechanical equipment, such as checking the Electrical connections, disconnecting and reconnection the Power supply.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Field experience with motor bearings, Blower Bering, Fan Bearing, Motor Alignment, and mechanical seal replacement.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, and rotating equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or certificate in ITI or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in building facilities, campuses, or industrial environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, if required.
• Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
