We are looking for Mechanical Technicians to support installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems for oil & gas projects, ensuring works are completed safely and as per specifications in Live Plant Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, operation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in live plant environments.
- Monitor equipment operating parameters and conduct variation assessments, identifying deviations in pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, and equipment performance.
- Support plant operations by coordinating with MEP, instrumentation, and control room teams.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on pumps, compressors, valves, piping systems, rotating equipment, and other mechanical assets.
- Assist in equipment startup, shutdown, isolation, and operational checks as required.
- Prepare daily operational and maintenance reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and operational standards.
- Identify potential equipment issues and report findings to supervisors for corrective action.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas live plant operations.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment monitoring, variation assessments, and daily reporting.
- Exposure to MEP systems, instrumentation interfaces, and coordination with control room operations.
- Good knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
- Mechanical Engineering or 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized/certified college.
- GCC experience preferred.
