Mechanical Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Technician to join our Facility Management team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems within hotels, airports, or large facility management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, water systems, and other mechanical installations.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure optimal operation of facility mechanical systems.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or operational issues.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed according to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in hotel facilities, airport facilities, or facility management companies.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, HVAC-related mechanical equipment, plumbing systems, and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and maintenance best practices.
• GCC experience, preferably in Oman, is an advantage

Pay: Up to RO200.000 per month
