About the Role

Automech Mechanical Engineering Co. is seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Workshop Foreman. This is an entry-level position designed for a fresh graduate who is eager to start their career in a fast-paced mechanical workshop environment.

You will be the face of our workshop, serving as the primary point of contact for our clients while ensuring that technical assessments and documentation are handled accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Management: Greet and "entertain" all incoming clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
• Technical Assessment: Inspect and assess mechanical work required on vehicles or equipment brought into the workshop.
• Documentation: Prepare accurate Quotations, Job Cards, and Delivery Notes based on the assessed work.
• Communication: Handle all incoming phone calls and inquiries during duty hours, providing updates to customers on their job status.
• Coordination: Act as the bridge between the client and the technical team to ensure work is completed according to the agreed-upon quote.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
• Languages: Must be fluent in English and Hindi/Urdu. (Hindi/Urdu is a MUST, otherwise do not apply)
• Language Plus: Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical workshop operations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel) for generating quotations and notes.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.

Pay: QAR1,700.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
