Overview
GrandeVille Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team for an Evening shift (3p-11p) every other weekend position. Additional shifts available as the schedule allows. The Med Tech is responsible for assisting with medication administration and providing personal care to residents while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. We are a family owned, stand alone Assisted Living Facility who has had the pleasure of serving the Rochester community since 1974. GrandeVille's services include; Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, Memory Care, as well as a Social Model Adult Day Care program.

Please note:

ALL positions have an every other weekend requirement, and some holidays may apply. Our shift start and end times are firm and can not be accommodated. This is a facility that mandates, and reliable transportation is a must!!

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and assist with medications according to physician orders and company policies
• Coordinate medication services (refills, changes, etc.) with pharmacies and physicians
• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
• Participate in training programs to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and reliable caregiver
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
