Starting rate is $17.75/hour and includes shift differentials! PM shift earns an extra $0.50/hour and NOC earns an extra $1.00/hour.

Lead Medication Technician (Med Tech) – Join Our Care Team!
Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 4 on 2 off rotating schedule working 2 days 3:30pm-12am and 2 days 2pm-10:30pm

Are you an experienced Med Tech who takes pride in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care? We are looking for a Lead Medication Technician to support our residents and care team by overseeing the medication management process and ensuring smooth, efficient operations throughout your shift.

In this role, you’ll serve as the primary Med Tech for a group of residents, support the Medication Management Supervisor, and act as a key liaison between staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the medication management process for an assigned group of residents
• Ensure accurate medication distribution, documentation, and compliance with regulations
• Prepare, pour, and pass medications safely and on time
• Train and support new Med Techs; help foster a strong team environment
• Order, receive, and inventory medications; maintain accurate records
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Respond to emergencies, including providing first aid and contacting 911 when needed
• Support staffing and scheduling needs in coordination with the Shift Leader
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room
• Assist with resident appointments and ensure proper paperwork is completed
• Perform caregiver duties as needed to support the team and residents

• Fluent in English
• Good judgment and ability to recognize early signs of illness and/or the need for a higher level of care.
• Ability to perform a broad range of simultaneous duties.
• Ability to effectively resolve conflict.

Requirements

Pass a pre-employment DOJ/FBI criminal record clearance, TB test, drug-screen, must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in English.
