Duties
- Assist residents and patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and nutrition support
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory impairments through personalized care plans
- Perform specialized procedures such as catheter care, tube feeding, and medication administration with precision and compassion
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient charts, and communicate changes in condition to nursing staff or physicians promptly
- Assist with medical procedures including blood draws or basic anatomy/physiology assessments as needed in acute or community-based settings
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic anatomy/physiology principles
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation
- Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance (e.g., CNA license) is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications required for some roles
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team in fast-paced settings

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
