Med Tech/Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Tech/Caregiver to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support within a medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, including those requiring memory care and catheter care.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for all individuals.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with team members and documentation.
• Conduct routine assessments of patients’ health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the medical office setting.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Experience in caregiving or patient care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of catheter care procedures is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
