Caregiver & Med Techs Job Description

Location: Cranberry Park at Grand Rapids 1900 32nd Street SE

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Shifts: Afternoons and Midnights

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers and med techs to join our team at Cranberry Park at Grand Rapids. As a caregiver and med tech, you will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities and medication administration to our residents. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care
• Ensure that residents' rooms are clean and tidy

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
• Experience working with seniors in a healthcare setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work afternoon and midnight shifts
