Job Overview

Al Midrar Institute is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Media Assistant to support our media production team. The role involves assisting in recording educational content, managing media equipment, and supporting studio, podcast, and on-location productions.

Position: Media Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Location: DHA Phase 7 (Extension), Karachi
Salary Package: PKR 25,000 – 40,000
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Work Schedule: 54 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording classes, lectures, and educational sessions
  • Support video and photo shoots (studio & outdoor)
  • Handle cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Assist in podcast and interview setups
  • Manage footage, data backup, and file organization
  • Support live recordings and basic streaming setups
  • Coordinate with hosts, speakers, and on-camera talent
  • Ensure proper setup before shoots and safe packing after use

Requirements

  • Good understanding of camera, lighting, and audio setups
  • Familiarity with microphones and studio equipment
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong discipline, professionalism, and teamwork skills
