We are seeking a skilled Media & Communications Manager to oversee all internal and external communication activities of our institute. The role involves managing media relations, developing communication strategies, handling public messaging, and ensuring a strong and consistent institutional voice across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication and media strategies
- Manage public relations and media engagement
- Create and review official announcements, press releases, and statements
- Oversee social media communication and public content
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Coordinate with departments for internal and external communication needs
- Build and maintain relationships with media representatives and stakeholders
- Monitor media coverage and public perception of the institute
- Support events, campaigns, and institutional outreach activities
- Prepare communication reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in media, communications, or public relations
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage public messaging professionally and effectively
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and content management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in institutional, NGO, or corporate communications
- Skills in content creation, storytelling, or media production
