JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Overview : We are seeking a Media & PR Manager to lead our external communications, manage media relations, and enhance brand visibility through strategic public relations initiatives. This role requires a strong storyteller who can craft compelling narratives, build media relationships, and execute PR campaigns that position the company as a thought leader in its industry.
Roles and Responsibilities- Public Relations & Media Management
● Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the brand’s overall business objectives.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media outlets.
● Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media kits, and official statements to ensure accurate media representation.
● Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify proactive PR opportunities.
● Plan and manage press conferences, media briefings, and interviews to enhance brand visibility. Brand Communication & Reputation Management
● Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels, in line with brand voice and values.
● Develop and execute crisis communication plans, acting as the primary media liaison during critical situations.
● Position company leadership as industry thought leaders through op-eds, bylines, panel discussions, and speaking engagements.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to align PR strategies with brand campaigns. Content & Collateral Development
● Oversee the creation of high-quality communication materials including press notes, backgrounders, speeches, presentations, and case studies.
● Contribute to the development of thought-leadership articles, media features, and corporate communication content.
● Coordinate with external agencies to execute above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) marketing initiatives and PR activations. Key Skills & Competencies
● Strong media network and a thorough understanding of media landscapes, including print, digital, television, and radio platforms.
● Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
● Proven ability to manage press relations and communications under high-pressure or crisis situations with professionalism and composure.
● Proficiency in PR monitoring and analytics tools such as Cision, Meltwater, Talkwalker, or equivalent platforms.
● Solid experience in event management and coordination, including media briefings, press conferences, and corporate events. Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
● 5–8 years of hands-on experience in media relations or public relations management, ideally within a PR agency or a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
● Proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns with measurable outcomes.
● Strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key media personnel across various platforms.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
