Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Media Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing advertising campaigns across broadcast radio, digital media platforms, and event sponsorships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for media and marketing, and possesses a strong drive to help clients grow their business through customized advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Development

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities across radio, digital, and event channels.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with local and regional clients.
  • Conduct needs analysis and deliver strategic marketing recommendations.
  • Present and sell multi-platform advertising solutions, including:
    • Radio spots and sponsorships
  • Digital campaigns (social media, display, audio streaming, SEM/SEO, email marketing)
  • Event sponsorships and on-site activations

Campaign Management

  • Work with creative, promotions, and digital teams to develop impactful campaigns.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to ensure client satisfaction and ROI.
  • Provide post-campaign reporting, insights, and upsell opportunities.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with internal departments (programming, promotions, production).
  • Attend station events, remote broadcasts, and community functions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and Internal communications software (e.g., Rumple, Viva Engage).

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in media (radio, digital, or events preferred).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, trends, and terminology.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

Job Type:

Salaried / Exempt

Pay:

$31,500 Annually + commissions

Expected Shift:

Mon - Fri 830am - 530pm
