Key Responsibilities:
- Provide media to include taking photographs or videos of The Contractor’s activities and events to support publications as requested by The Contractor’s Executive Leadership
- · Produce at least one publication monthly by the last day of the month. Will be required to conduct site visits, perform personnel interviews, or attend offsite events, to include after hours and weekends
- Assists with Quality inspections, administrative and reporting, to include, contract deliverables, Monthly Annex Progress Report and Award Fee Evaluations
- Keep up with deadlines as timeliness
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by The Contractor’s Executive Leadership
Qualifications and Skills:
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ working experience as a journalist or reporter
- Excellent communication and research skills, critical thinker and problem-solving skills, team player, good time-management skills, great interpersonal and communication skills, and strong communication
- Capable of maintaining an ethical and objective standard in reporting.
- Ability to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information.
- Excellent observation and judgment skills.
- Superb communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information.
- Must successfully clear a Department of War background check
