Media Team Photographer / Videographer & Content Creator Position Summary

Dominion Church is seeking a creative, dependable, and ministry-minded Media Team Photographer/Videographer & Content Creator to help capture and share the story of what God is doing through our church. This part-time ministry position is perfect for someone who is passionate about photography, videography, storytelling, and digital media and wants to use their creative gifts to make an eternal impact.

The ideal candidate will capture worship services, church events, testimonies, and ministry moments while leading and developing a team of media volunteers to support the church's growing creative ministry.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos during Sunday services, church events, conferences, and special ministry activities.
• Film worship, sermons, baptisms, testimonies, outreach events, and other key moments.
• Edit photos and videos for social media, the church website, YouTube, and promotional campaigns.
• Create engaging short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Collaborate with church leadership to plan and produce media that supports church announcements, events, and ministry initiatives.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule media team volunteers in photography, videography, and content creation best practices.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to volunteers, helping them develop their creative and technical skills while serving in ministry.
• Delegate media assignments to volunteers and ensure consistent quality across all visual content.
• Maintain an organized library of photos and video assets.
• Ensure all media reflects the mission, values, and branding of Dominion Church.
• Maintain and care for camera, video, audio, and lighting equipment.
• Support the vision and mission of Dominion Church through creative visual storytelling.

Qualifications

• Must be an active and consistent member of Dominion Church through regular attendance and participation.
• Passion for using creativity to advance the Gospel and serve the local church.
• Experience with photography and videography using DSLR, mirrorless, or professional camera equipment.
• Proficiency with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar applications.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and current content trends.
• Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring volunteers or creative teams is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability.
• Dependable, trustworthy, organized, and punctual.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well with church leadership, volunteers, and ministry teams.
• Must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent and timely attendance for Sunday services and church events.

Schedule & Commitment

• Serve every Sunday from 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
• Attend and capture media during conferences, holiday services, outreach events, and special church activities as needed.
• Occasionally work flexible hours to edit and prepare media for publication.
• Maintain a positive attitude while upholding the values and standards of Dominion Church.
