Role : Media Trainer

Full-time / Contract (Project-based)

Location: Pune

About the Role

This role builds creative learning programs for schools across India—integrating filmmaking, media literacy, storytelling, stop-motion, green screen, podcasting, and visual design aligned to CBSE/NEP. Trainers deliver hands-on workshops and ongoing modules that culminate in student projects (ads, short films, news bulletins, podcasts, print ads, memes, etc.).

What You’ll Do

● Conduct Creative Classroom Sessions in areas such as visual storytelling, green screen, short film production, news production, podcasting, and Canva.

● Mentor Student Projects including ads, short films, podcasts, and reels.

● Teach Technical Basics: camera operation, lighting setups, and sound.

● Manage Session Flow & Resources: props, documentation, and classroom activities.

● Coordinate with Schools for scheduling, project outcomes, and festival readiness.

Must-Have Skills & Preferences

● Classroom/Workshop facilitation skills.

● Basic filmmaking, camera & Canva knowledge.

● Strong communication (Hindi + English).

● Willingness to travel.

Preference: Background in Camera or Theatre.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s in Media/Film/Communication/Education (or demonstrable equivalent experience).

● 1–3 years of classroom facilitation or production experience (workshops, clubs, studios, theatre, YouTube, etc.).

● Portfolio of student work or personal projects preferred.

● Willingness to travel on weekends and weekdays as scheduled.

● Cleared background verification per school policy.

KPIs / Success Metrics

● Project Outputs: number and quality of student deliverables per module.

● Engagement & Feedback: student/teacher feedback scores, attendance, classroom energy.

● Timeliness & Compliance: sessions delivered as per plan; documentation submitted on time.

● Care of Assets: proper use and handover of equipment, kits, and lab spaces.

● Event Readiness: contribution to Student Film Festivals/showcases.

Compensation & Work Pattern

● Competitive salary/retainer based on experience and city band.

● Travel, lodging, and per-diems as per policy for out-station work.

● Training & shadowing included; periodic upskilling (advanced lighting, sound, editing).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
