Media Writer

The Media Writer is responsible for creating engaging, accurate, and platform-specific content for social media channels. The role involves writing news-based posts, captions, scripts, and short-form content that align with brand voice and current trends. The Media Writer will work closely with the digital marketing and design teams to ensure content drives reach, engagement, and audience growth. The position requires strong storytelling skills, an understanding of social media algorithms, and the ability to adapt news and media content for multiple platforms while meeting deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in media writing or digital content writing
• Proven experience in writing content for social media platforms
• Strong understanding of platform formats (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Ability to convert news and information into engaging social media content
• Knowledge of hashtags, captions, reels, shorts, and headline writing
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
• Excellent command of grammar, tone, and storytelling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
