Medical Aesthetician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Aesthetician to join our dynamic team at Aesthetic Theory Medspa. This is a part-time position with strong potential to grow into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aesthetic treatments and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Candidates must be able to travel between both of our locations in Lake Orion and Grosse Pointe as needed.

We are looking for someone who thrives working independently while also contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including: facials, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, acne treatments, microneedling, rf microneedling, etc.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record software for efficient management of client records / charting and appointments.
• Engage in social media management to promote services and enhance brand visibility.
• Provide product demonstrations and educate clients on skincare products and services.
• Upsell additional services and products to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
• Assist in inventory management and general spa cleaning / maintenance.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in the aesthetic industry.

Experience

• Aesthetics license is required.
• Proven experience as a Medical Aesthetician or similar role within a med spa environment is required (1 year minimum).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
• Familiarity with retail sales strategies and upselling techniques is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
