Medical Aesthetician

Job Description

Artisan Eye is seeking a Medical Aesthetician / Ocular Surface Restoration Therapist to join our clinical team.

This is not a traditional spa aesthetic role. You will work directly with the doctor to deliver advanced treatments for dry eye disease and periocular health, guiding patients through a structured, medically driven care process.

This is a patient-centered, clinical role focused on outcomes.

The Company

Artisan Eye is an independent optometry practice redefining how ocular surface disease is treated.

Our Ocular Surface Restoration Center combines:

  • Advanced technology (IPL, RF, OptiLift)
  • Mechanism-based diagnosis
  • Personalized treatment plans
  • A high-touch, hospitality-driven patient experience

We prioritize clinical integrity, patient trust, and long-term outcomes over volume.

Position Description

You will function as a clinical extension of the doctor, responsible for delivering treatments and guiding patients through their care journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing treatments (IPL, RF, OptiLift, TearCare)
  • Educating patients on treatment plans and expectations
  • Supporting patients through full treatment sequences and maintenance
  • Reinforcing doctor recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Providing a calm, professional, high-level patient experience
  • Maintaining consistency with team communication and workflow

You are a key part of ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and confident in their care.

Qualified Applicants

We are hiring for mindset and communication, not just experience.

Ideal candidates are:

  • Strong communicators who build trust easily
  • Warm, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Interested in both clinical care and aesthetics
  • Confident without being sales-driven
  • Coachable, curious, and eager to learn

Helpful (but not required) experience:

  • Medical aesthetics
  • Optometry or ophthalmology
  • Dermatology or med spa
  • Patient-facing healthcare roles

Training & Growth

  • Structured, hands-on training program
  • Direct mentorship from doctor and team
  • Clear path to independent treatment execution
  • Ongoing development in both clinical care and patient experience

Why This Role Is Different

This is a high-impact clinical role, not a traditional aesthetic position.

You will be part of a coordinated care model focused on:

  • Restoring ocular surface health
  • Improving patient quality of life
  • Delivering a premium, personalized experience

If you are passionate about patient care and want to grow into a unique, clinically driven role, we would love to meet you.
