ABOUT TKI & THIS ROLE

The Kaga Institute of Medicine & Aesthetics is far from a typical med spa. We utilize advanced laser technologies including Excel V+, Enlighten, Secret RF, Sofwave, and XEO+ — applying them with a clinical depth and precision that sets our practice apart. Our Medical Director is a recognized KOL and educator in aesthetic medicine, creating an environment centered on education, safety, and science-driven outcomes.

We are seeking a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician who is passionate about the industry — someone deeply interested in skin health, patient outcomes, and mastering advanced aesthetic treatments while building a loyal, expertise-based clientele within a supportive and growth-focused practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform advanced laser and energy-based treatments including laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, body contouring, and RF microneedling
• Conduct comprehensive consultations, establish realistic expectations, and develop customized treatment plans
• Provide facial aesthetic services including medical-grade peels, advanced facials, and device-assisted treatments
• Maintain strong knowledge of TKI’s treatment protocols, contraindications, and laser safety standards
• Ensure exceptional sanitation, equipment care, and treatment room upkeep
• Collaborate with injectors and internal medicine providers on combination treatment plans
• Assist with educational events, marketing initiatives, and social media content when appropriate
• Track patient progress, maintain accurate documentation, and support ongoing protocol development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Active NJ Esthetician license required; laser certification required or willingness to obtain promptly
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with energy-based devices in a medical or clinical aesthetic setting
• Experience with platforms such as Excel V+, Enlighten, Secret RF, Sofwave, or XEO+ is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of skin physiology, Fitzpatrick classifications, and laser safety principles
• Consultation skills that are informative, confidence-building, and patient-centered
• Professional appearance and approachable personality that fosters long-term patient relationships
• Ability to commute to Marlboro, NJ (primary location) with occasional travel to East Brunswick as needed
