Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure smooth clinic flow
• Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as medication administration, and basic life support when needed
• Support physicians and nurses with clinical tasks like specimen collection, and wound care.
• Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and proper supply inventory for efficient patient care delivery
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring comfort throughout visits

Experience

• Prior experience working in a medical office, urgent care centers, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding and medication administration protocols is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is necessary to ensure readiness for emergency situations

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
