Medical Assistant

OC WELLNESS is a reputable anti-aging practice located in Newport Beach. We specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, anti-aging and regenerative medicine, cosmetics, and provide a wide variety of advanced treatment options such as platelet rich plasma and stem cell therapy. Our mission is to provide our patients with effective and natural opportunities to reversing the aging process and restoring optimal health and spiritual well-being.

We are looking for a full-time medical assistant. This position will provide on the job training to include taking vital signs, blood draw, lab testing/ordering, electronic prescription management, measuring arterial stiffness, stem cell therapy, centrifuging platelet rich plasma (PRP), assisting with medical/surgical and cosmetic procedures, and EHR systems.

Essential duties:

Coordinating the daily administrative activities such as scheduling appointments, answering telephones, assisting patient check-in and check-out.

Chart preparations for next day patients and other front office duties as needed.

Preparing treatment rooms and assisting the doctor with medical procedures and other patient care.

Benefits:

$22 per hour

Full-time

Monday through Thursday position 9:00am-5:00pm, some Fridays. (closed on weekends and holidays)

Education, Training and Experience Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Preferred blood draw experiene or open to training.
