Medical Assistant

Job Summary
Medical Assistant should be able to draw blood and administer vaccines. Deliver exceptional patient care where you will provide hands-on support to healthcare provider, assist with patient intake, perform clinical procedures, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Prepare patients for examinations by documenting medical histories & updating records
• Assist healthcare provider during procedures
• Support outpatient care by managing patient flow, organizing medical supplies, and maintaining clinical cleanliness
• Document clinical notes accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding standards to ensure compliance and proper billing
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing intake forms, and maintaining organized medical records

Skills

• Ability to perform clinical procedures such as vital signs collection & medication administration
• Familiarity with ICD coding standards for diagnosis documentation and billing accuracy
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
