Job Title: Experienced Medical Assistant – Rheumatology Practice

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary : Negotiable, based on experience

Mid Atlantic Rheumatology is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our dedicated healthcare team. We offer a supportive and pleasant working environment, where patient care is our top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-authorization of medications and checking lab work.
• Sending prescriptions and communicating lab results with patients.
• Taking vital signs and preparing exam rooms for patient visits.
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow.
• Performing blood draws and other clinical duties as needed.
• Assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in rheumatology setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
• On-site training specific to our practice will be provided.

License/Certifications
