Medical Assistant

The Heart Center of Memphis is a clinic based cardiology practice. The practice is made up of 1 physician and a Physician Assistant. The office is open Monday- Friday. No weekends. No holidays.

The position is for a full-time MA. Cardiology experience is preferred but not required.

• Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited course of study and have proof of certification.
• Transcription experience a plus.
• IV placement is a plus.
• One year of direct patient care experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred. Previous cardiac related experience with EKG and stress testing is preferred.
• Person should display initiative, have the ability to multitask and be able to assume additional responsibilities. Proven ability to problem-solve and be a team member is essential. Must possess and maintain current certification or registration. Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
