Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Experienced Part Time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care within a family practice clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of anatomy and be skilled in various medical procedures, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer basic life support as needed and assist in emergencies.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as vitals, simple point of care lab tests, ect.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
• Educate patients on care plans, medications, and follow-up appointments.
• Support the healthcare team in various administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience with patient care in a medical clinic is required
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Current BLS certificate.
• Proficient understanding of anatomy to assist in patient care effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient service.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
