Busy pediatric practice in Granger, IN seeks a full-time or part-time candidate to serve as Medical Assistant. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior experience. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Clinical support to the provider and patients

· Appointment scheduling and pre-visit planning

· Collaborate with other practices to streamline patient care

· Making and responding to patient messages and phone calls

· Processing paperwork and referrals

· Ensuring that the exam rooms are stocked and orderly

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Available 8:30 am - 5:30 pm weekdays with half day off each week (full time) or part-time 2-3 days/week

· Family Practice or Pediatric experience preferred

· Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience required

· Referral experience is desired, but not required

· Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly, and highly professional attitude

· Ability to work well with a team

· Ability to multi-task

· Completion of medical assistant program required, CCMA/RMA preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
