Medical Assistant

Job Description:
Our busy pediatric office is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our young patients and supporting our healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

• Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Assist healthcare providers in examinations and procedures
• Record patient information and vital signs
• Perform basic lab tests and procedures
• Ensure patient rooms are clean and stocked
• Provide patient education and instructions as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
• Previous experience working in a pediatric setting (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
