Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, optainini prior authorizatio, dowloading pumps/CGM and updating electronic health records (EHR systems)
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration to monitor patient health status accurately
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process
• Support physicians with clinical tasks including medication administration
• Perform clinical documentation to ensure precise medical records
• Manage medical supplies inventory and maintain a safe clinical environment
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers

Experience

• Prior experience working in endocrinology is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience that enhances your ability to respond swiftly to diverse situation
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation
• Experience with insulin pumps, CGM and prior authorizations preferred
• Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and ICD coding ensures compliance with healthcare standards
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Pay: $22.92 - $26.00 per hour
